January 11, 2008 Meeting Minutes BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Rosewall,
Lichtenberg, Utley, President Rosewall called the meeting to order at Sigman/Gilmore MOTION to approve September 2007 Board Meeting Minutes. APPROVED Advocacy Committee Report presented by Powless Sheehan/Egan MOTION to have the WPRA/WPR become a sponsor of the Arts Wisconsin Advocacy Day on March 5th at a cost of $250.00. APPROVED Development Committee Report presented by Rudnitzki No Board action required Finance Committee Report presented by No Board action required Board Operations Committee Report presented by Steele Election process in place. Nominations for contested seats on the board received and vetted (see attached list). Ballots will contain the name and location of each candidate, a 150 word profile statement provided by each candidate, a disclaimer statement, and a description of how ballot order was determined. Steele/Gilmore MOTION to hire the Wegner accounting firm to count the ballots unless a preferable alternative is found in the next 30 days. MOTION withdrawn by Steele/Gilmore Steele/Lichtenberg MOTION to hire Wegner accounting firm to audit the election returns for 2008. APPROVED Jones-Bey/Egan MOTION to adjourn.
